Wacky Tacky

We found a play area to take Charlie to. He had the best time shooting the nerf balls out of the cannons. He was not a fan of the big slides. He went down them once and flipped over half way down. He would not try it again. Mommy did get him to try out the tunnels again and he enjoyed that, but we wanted to go back and play in the ball area over and over.

 Charlie shooting nerf balls.

You would put the balls in this machine and it would shoot them up the top and they would come flying out.

This machine would shoot them up a tube that would drop them out across the room.

Climbing through the tunnels

After Wacky Tacky, we went shopping for awhile. Travis and Juls wanted to take us to one of their favorite restaurants for supper. We went to the Elephant Bar. Charlie was so excited to eat an elephant with Uncle Travis. He was going to eat the body. Uncle Travis got the trunk.

We got there and ordered our food. While we were waiting, Charlie threw-up all over the table. We had to get our food to go. It was still delicious even at Travis and Juls' apartment.

Jelly Bean Factory

We drove 1 hour and stood in line 2 hours just to get a free bag of Jelly Belly jellybeans. Charlie was surprisingly good standing in line. It was a really neat tour of the factory. My favorite part was when we walked into the one station and the were making my favorite jellybean, Juicy Pear. It smelled so good! Charlie's favorite part was eating the whole bag of jellybeans on the way home. He also liked the hat. He made sure everyone had their hat on the whole time.

John's Incredible Pizza

So imagine Chucky Cheese on steroids. That would be John's Incredible Pizza. It has the same arcade style games, but it also had an indoor roller coaster, bumper cars, bowling alley, etc.

 Eating our pizza and dessert

 Playing the Spongebob jumping game

Charlie and Uncle Travis are feeding peanuts to the zoo animals

 Playing skeeball

 Knocking ducks over

Auntie Juls playing the jump-rope game

Uncle Travis trying to win Charlie a dinosaur

Daddy trying to knock out the bad guys

This was Charlie's favorite game. You had to roll a token into a dump truck.

The first time he played he hit the bonus button and won 100 tickets.

Charlie ended up with 1150 tickets and came home with a monster truck, squishy face character, blow-up bat, and chinese finger trap.

Nap Time

Auntie Juls went to bed when she got home from working all night. The rest of us made lunch before we were going out for the day. While eating lunch we started watching Toy Story 2. Slowly everyone fell asleep on me.
Corey was the first to go

 Then Uncle Travis crashed

 Finally Charlie fell asleep

Even the dog fell asleep on me. At least I got caught up on my blogging.

Old Sacramento and California's Train Museum

We had to feed the ducks outside of Uncle Travis' apartment before we could leave.

and South Dakota towns it stopped at.

Our favorite place was in the upstairs.
They had 3 large Thomas train sets set-up for kids to play with.
Charlie could have played here all day.

To Sacramento on Christmas Day

We got up at 3:00 on Christmas Day to drive to Minneapolis. Our flight left at 9:00 from Minneapolis and was direct to Sacramento. Charlie had a great time on the plane. He did very well. Luckily we had free Wi-Fi so he could watch Dino Dan on the plane. We landed at 11:00 (California time). Uncle Travis was there to pick us  up. We hung out at there apartment. Uncle Travis made a delicious supper of ham and potatoes, but Charlie was so tired that he fell asleep before supper. He didn't even get to open his presents until the next day.
On our way to Uncle Travis' apartment

Eating macaroni and cheese. Ella loves when we visit because we share with her.

The next morning we opened gifts from Uncle Travis and Auntie Juls.
