Charlie has worn his Viking's Adrian Peterson jersey so much that the numbers were wearing off. He would wear it backwards so that the numbers on the back would show. Papa and Nana surprised him on Halloween with a new jersey and one for Hudson also.

Playdate

We went to our friend's house to play after the Bison game. Claire and Hudson had a great time trying to crawl around together, and Charlie and Brooks were having so much fun they wanted a sleep-over.

Pumpkin Carving

Friday night, we decided it was time to carve our pumpkins. We had already painted one of the small pumpkins, so we had two small pumpkins and one big pumpkin to carve. 

Charlie really got into scooping out the seeds. He did not want to touch them with his hands though. Too slimy!

Hudson was entertained with a spoon.

MEA Weekend

I had Thursday and Friday off this weekend. It was a much needed 4-day weekend. We have been super busy every weekend, so it was nice to have some time at home.


On Thursday we took Charlie to Chuck E. Cheese. He had been staying in his bed all night lately, so we promised him a treat.

We then went to the Cowboy football game at the Fargo Dome. Hudson got his first lick of cotton candy.

Friday and Saturday, we were home all day. It was nice to stay at home and relax. 

 We chilled in our pajamas.

 We played.

 We cleaned up the yard and played outside.

And enjoyed some hot cocoa while watching the Bison game.

On Sunday, we went to Grandma Cindy's and Grandpa Dan's house. We took pictures and then had a turkey dinner.

 Charlie was having a blast jumping on all of the pillows.

Driving

Hudson has found a new favorite toy. He loves to pretend he is driving. Although he spends more time chewing on the steering wheel then moving it. 

Ring Bearer

Charlie was asked by my friend Jo to be the ring bearer in her wedding. We were so honored that she and Mike asked him to be a part of their day. We talked about this with him for 9 months trying to prepare him. At rehearsal, he wanted nothing to do with being a part of the wedding. 

That day, he was super excited to put on his tuxedo. He looked adorable. We got to the church. He played with the flower girl. He was talking with all of the bridesmaids and groomsmen. He seemed very comfortable. When it came to walking down the aisle, he waited patiently in line. Then it was his turn and he froze and would not go.

Homemade Applesauce

I made homemade applesauce for the first time. It was super easy. Everything goes in the crockpot. It called for a lot of sugar so I don't think I would make the same recipe again.

Charlie did not care for it, but Hudson loved it. Corey gave him a tiny taste, and he would not let go of the spoon.

Happy Birthday Uncle Travis!

We headed to the cities to celebrate Uncle Travis' birthday and help him and Juls move into their house.

Corey and I gave both of the boys a mohawk without knowing the other one did. Hudson's stuck up better then Charlie's.

Jaws, Paws, and Claws

I signed Charlie up for Thursday night ECFE classes again this fall. He always has a blast. The first few classes are all about animals. At the first class, they were learning about the Hermit Crab. The teacher asked the class why the crab has his shell. Charlie says, "To protect him from predators."  He always has a blast playing with all of the toys.

 He went right to the kitchen and started making me supper.
