Wild Kratz
Charlie has a new favorite TV show. It is a show on PBS called "Wild Kratz". I still haven't watched it, but when we get home he always wants to play Wild Kratz. I keep asking him how to we play it. "You just run around", is what his reply is always. I finally found out the show is all about animals. Today when we got home, he wanted to play it again. I asked him what animals we were going to look for. Charlie wanted to search for insects. We got out our binoculars, magnify glass, and tweezer and searched for insects. Somehow our basement is filled with insects. We found them hiding everywhere. He then found a chrysalis. We had to bring it back to his bedroom and watch it hatch into a monarch butterfly. His imagination is getting bigger every day.

Watching TV
Charlie was watching "Cars" before church. He went and got the dog's bed out of our bedroom and drug it into the living room. He grabbed a blanket and covered himself up. He laid there for 45 minutes watching the movie.

New Look
For some reason, Charlie decided that hiking his sweatpants up as high as he could was a good idea. He then would run around yelling "Creature Power". This is a line from a show they watch at daycare.

Weekend
We had a busy weekend. The school carnival was postponed on Friday night because of a blizzard watch. So we had supper at Burger King and took it easy. On Saturday Kasey, Lisa, and Brooks came to stay with us. We really enjoyed having them. The boys played so good together. We hung out on Saturday afternoon. Then we tried to have supper at the Wilkin, then the Pavillion, and finally at El Toro's. It was a busy night at every place we went to. We had some musical sleeping spots during the night with Kasey and Lisa sleeping in Charlie's bed. On Sunday, we had breakfast and then the Bartholomay's had to leave. We hope to do this again soon!
They loved playing basketball just like their daddies use to do!
As you can tell by our basement floor, they had every single toy that Charlie owns out. There attention span was less than 5 minutes and then they would take something else out.
They both did an AMAZING job using the potty this weekend. Charlie was in big boy underwear all weekend with no accidents. This was Brook's first weekend using the potty. If one of them had to go to the bathroom, the other had to also.

The best picture of the two of them smiling. Brooks is wearing Corey's basketball jersey. He needed it on to play basketball.
Being cowboys. Daddy makes a great horsey.
On Sunday after the Bartholomay's left, we decided to go bowling. Charlie had never been before and we had not been to the bowling alley in Wahpeton since we moved here.

Doing it all by myself!
"Go, ball, Go!" is what Charlie said every time he pushed the ball.

Charlie's Bedroom
Here are pictures of Charlie's big boy bedroom. I found the quilt and we let Charlie pick out what colors he wanted his room. He choose blue and orange. The bedroom was already gray, so Corey painted 2 walls blue and painted an orange stripe.
Corey cut the legs down on the desk, so it is Charlie's height.
Space Aliens
We went to supper with Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Dan at Space Aliens. Charlie had wanted to eat there. He was very excited when we got there. He kept pointing to the ceiling and telling us to look at the planets and the Milky Way.
Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Dan took him to play games. Then it was time to eat.
Just as we were finishing eating, the Alien came out. As soon as Charlie saw him, he was scrambling to get into my lap. I tried to tell him it was ok, but he wanted nothing to do with him. He buried his head in my stomach and grabbed my arm and wrapped it around his eyes. He would peek out over my arm and look for the alien. He stayed this was for the 10 minutes the alien was out meeting kids. As soon as the alien left, Charlie was perfectly fine.
