My Baby

Wherever Hudson is, Charlie is right there. He refers to him as "My Baby". He gives him so many kisses that I sometimes have to ask him to let Hudson breathe. Charlie has been a great big brother.

RRVF

Corey and I took Charlie to the Red River Valley Fair yesterday. He was so excited to get Mommy and Daddy all to himself. Hudson stayed with Grandma Cindy for the day. Right when we got there, we found a haybale maze. 

 We checked out all of the exhibits. There was lots of animals to look at. They were having a crowing contest with the roosters.

 We then went to the petting zoo. Charlie loves to feed the animals. He gets right up to them. There were cows, sheep, goats, deer, zebras, camels, and more.

 We then found Charlie some popcorn to snack on while we walked around.

Charlie's favorite part was the Dueling Pirates. It was a acrobatic,diving pirate show. 

At the end, the main character dives 80 feet into 10 feet of water. The guy holds the world's record for the highest dive of 172 feet.

After the pirate show, we got lunch and smoothies.

Charlie wanted to win a blow-up guitar. He played the duck game and won it.

Lake 11

We spent all of Sunday morning down in the water at Lake 11.

 Charlie was trying to ring the orca that Papa was riding.

On Saturday, there was some tiny perch swimming by the dock. Charlie and Grandpa decided to try and catch some.

Beach Time

On Friday, Grandma Cindy picked Charlie, Hudson, and I up and we went to Ottertail. We loaded up on the pontoon and found a sandy beach to play on.

 While Charlie was busy playing, Hudson was hanging out on the pontoon.

You love people. You would love to be held all day if possible.
Your head is really strong.
You eat around 3 oz, 8 times per day.
You get up around 3 times a night still.
You always wake up around 5:30/6. You have a hard time going back to sleep but if we put you in your swing, eventually you do.
You still wear 0-3 month clothes.
You hate your car seat. You cry almost the whole time riding in the car.
You love being outside.

Fourth of July

We had a wonderful Fourth of July at Ottertail Lake. We spent time lots of time with family, riding the pontoon, mini-golfing, going to a parade, playing with cousins and snuggling. 

 Charlie likes to look for fish in the lake.

 Hudson loves to be outside.

 Throwing ice into the lake that fell on the ground from the cooler. Much better than throwing rocks into the lake.

 Charlie had all the cousins following him around and playing with him.

 Charlie riding in the kayak. It only took 5 people and 1 hour to get him into the kayak. We never did get him to go all the way into the water.

 Hudson's favorite napping spot was Grandpa Dan's belly.

 Charlie's favorite person is Tanya.

 Watching fireworks on the pontoon. Instead of looking at the camera, he is mesmerized by the fireworks in the distance.

 Hudson loved riding the pontoon. He got passed to whoever was sitting in the shade.

We all needed a nap after all of the sun.
