Homemade Applesauce

I made homemade applesauce for the first time. It was super easy. Everything goes in the crockpot. It called for a lot of sugar so I don't think I would make the same recipe again.

Charlie did not care for it, but Hudson loved it. Corey gave him a tiny taste, and he would not let go of the spoon.

Happy Birthday Uncle Travis!

We headed to the cities to celebrate Uncle Travis' birthday and help him and Juls move into their house.

Corey and I gave both of the boys a mohawk without knowing the other one did. Hudson's stuck up better then Charlie's.

Jaws, Paws, and Claws

I signed Charlie up for Thursday night ECFE classes again this fall. He always has a blast. The first few classes are all about animals. At the first class, they were learning about the Hermit Crab. The teacher asked the class why the crab has his shell. Charlie says, "To protect him from predators."  He always has a blast playing with all of the toys.

Everybody up for the Kick-off

How do you know we have been to a few Bison games? Because we have to play football every night. Charlie sets the ball up and then kicks it. While he is doing this, I have to go wahooooooooo with my hands in the air waving my fingers until he kicks off, just like at the Bison games.

Do you notice his fancy get-up? He has his Vikings jersey on backwards because all of the numbers are worn off on the front. Then he needs shorts and his football socks (gray socks that pull up to his knees. Throw in some Bison tattoos and he is all set to practice football all night.

Painting a Pumpkin

I had asked Charlie if he wanted to do a project. I had found a cute project to paint jars to make pumpkins. He misunderstood me, and just wanted to paint a pumpkin blue. So he picked out a pumpkin and we let him paint it.
