Beautiful Weather

When we got home today, we had to take the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful weather. Living in MN, we usually don't have such nice weather for February 1st. Charlie saw his lawn mower and thought that the grass (the sidewalk) needed a trim. He also had fun pushing it through the snow.

As he was mowing, he got distracted by the big snow chunks. It is the perfect snow, a little melted, to make huge snowballs. Our neighbor Jerry showed Charlie how they break when he throws them.

It is also fun to throw it high in the air and it comes crashing down.

Hudson loved being outside. He is not the easiest to get into a snowsuit so he hasn't been outside a lot lately. It was warm enough this afternoon that he didn't need a snowsuit on. He loved being in his swing. The whole time I was pushing him, he kept giggling.

Hunter/Basketball Player

Charlie couldn't make up his mind on what he wanted to be when we got home tonight. It was a hard decision: Hunter or Basketball player.

Then throw being a chef in there also. 

We also made trips to the beach and Disney World in our car. While we were driving, the "Salami" monster (I think he means slimy) kept attacking us. It was a very busy night at our house.

Sunday Fort

Besides church, we got to spend the day at home on Sunday. I decided to make Charlie a fort. He had a lot of fun playing in there.

He had even more fun watching a movie curled up.

Chillaxin'

Hudson is becoming Mister Independent. He wants to hold his own bottle and wants to get into everything. The other morning he would only take the bottle if he got to hold it by himself.

Let Me Come Down!

Hudson didn't seem to think it was fair that Daddy and Charlie went downstairs and left him upstairs. He was leaning against the gate and shaking it over and over.

Little Helper

Hudson loves to be involved in everything we are doing. He is always right by my side checking everything out. One of his favorite spots is the dishwasher. He can stand up and hold on to the door and the soap dispenser flips back and forth. What could be more fun?

2011

We have had such an amazing year! Corey and I feel so blessed to have these two wonderful boys in our lives. Every day is exciting and interesting. We are very fortunate to have so many wonderful family members and friends that live close and support us. I know that 2012 will be an even better year.
