Charlie loves to golf. He golfs almost everyday. He takes his iron and one of his nerf golf balls and hits it back and forth. He really hits the ball far. Here are some pictures of him in action:

Weekend at Lake 11

Friday on our way to Lake 11, we stopped in Barnesville to pick up a pizza from Ole & Lena's. It was going to be a 35 minute wait so we headed to a park to play. The park had a dinosaur theme and Charlie was having so much fun. 

He kept wanting to feed the dinosaur. "He look hungry!"

He liked riding these two.

After we got our pizza, we went to Papa and Nana's house. We stayed overnight on Friday. Saturday was gorgeous. We played down by the lake all afternoon. Charlie loved riding in the paddleboat with Nana and squirting us with water.

Charlie likes to get the worms out of the container, rip them in half, and put them on the hook. 

There wasn't many fish biting this weekend.

We came home Saturday so that Corey could pack Sunday morning for his trip. He left Sunday afternoon and is gone for 10 days. Charlie and I are keeping ourselves busy. We went and visited Grandma O. at Bethany on Sunday. On Monday, Charlie went to daycare to see his friends while I worked at school. Monday night, Madeline Randall stayed with us. We went to the pool to swim for awhile. Tuesday we played with Madeline and we are going to National Night Out at the park in Breckenridge.

Doggy Haircut

As you can tell, Aaron desperately needed a haircut. Look at his face. It says "I am hot!" So today we took him to a new place. This is the before.

I like how she left his ears long on the bottom. He actually looks like a cocker spaniel now. He was so happy when we got home. Running around like a little puppy.

Supper with Kevin and Kathy

We had supper at my uncle Kevin and aunt Kathy's house last night. They got a new dog a few weeks ago and Charlie loves to visit "Tooper" aka Cooper.  Kevin and Kathy have so many toys that Charlie could be entertained for hours at their house. He also loves to help Kevin feed the birds. We were having so much fun that it was 10 before we left.

Falling

Charlie would not take a nap yesterday. He was in his crib for an hour and a half, but would not go to sleep. Finally I decided we would just go to the pool without a nap. We went swimming at the pool for an hour and then he wanted a snack. We came back home and after a snack I told him he needed to lay on the couch and watch TV. He did not need to sleep, but I knew he would. After 10 minutes he was out. He had been sleeping for 30 minutes when he started moving to get more comfortable. All of a sudden, he rolled completely off the couch smack on the floor. He cried for a while, but then fell right back asleep.

Daddy joined him on the couch later. Charlie woke up,but Daddy kept sleeping. 

You have to love these 2 boys.

Sandbox

Charlie loved playing in his sandbox yesterday morning. He would bury one of his cars in the sand and then I would have to find it. Then I would bury it and he would have to find it. The only bad part was all the sand that got dragged into the house. It was worth it to watch him having so much fun.

Here is the scrapbooking page I did yesterday of Charlie's 1st birthday. I hope to have his first year book done this week.
